Just a few days ago, we had to come to you for help. The team put in place
an ambitious $25,000 EOQ goal, and honestly, I was a little skeptical that
we’d be able to make it.

That’s not because I don’t have faith in people like you — it’s because
our campaign does things a little differently, and that often makes it
harder to raise money. Without special interests or corporate PACs,
funding this campaign is a challenge.

Honestly though, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Losing some
fundraising is a small price to pay for the independence Ro has as a
progressive leader — he only has to answer to you.
