We need your help, John! 🌊
Dip A Day in October is our biggest community fundraising challenge – and we can’t do it without YOU.
Last year’s plucky dippers were a brilliantly eclectic bunch, who blew us away by raising a whopping £202,105. Those funds were vital in helping us keep sewage pollution at the top of the political agenda – making the King’s speech, and becoming a hot topic in the election. Labour now has a mandate to tackle the problem, with water quality and plastic pollution named as the Environment Secretary’s top two priorities.
These things don’t happen by accident.
So now we’re paddling even harder to ramp up the pressure. We’re pushing for the government's new Water Bill to achieve long-term environmental improvement. We’re pursuing more Designated Bathing Spaces. And we’re keeping the pressure on water companies to put people and planet before profit.
We need to double the funds raised this year to fuel our ambitious campaigns and programmes of work to end sewage pollution, to seize this window of opportunity. And we need YOUR help.

YOU CAN DO THIS ✊
The Dip A Day rules? Get into any cold water that’s safe and accessible for you, every day this October.
Is it easy? No! It’s a challenge – but that’s the whole point. It’s hard to keep showing up. It’s cold. It can be tiring. It takes planning.
But it’s also a ridiculous amount of fun. Addictive and rejuvenating. Life-changing, even.
By taking that daily dip, you’ll join a wonderful community having fun while fighting to transform the water industry, so that people and planet always come before profit.
And you’ll inject some vital pep into your autumn in the process!

WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
We’ve all been disgusted by the stories of sewage and other pollution pouring into the sea. Our urgent work to reverse that relies on people just like you: joining the Dip A Day community, spurring people on with your stories, and raising key funds.
We’d love you to get stuck in. Doing your bit to help make sure that anyone, anywhere can enjoy our wild waters. Dip safely now, so everyone can have clean waters in future.
So, whether it’s in the sea, river, lake, your bathroom or back garden, will you join us and take the plunge?
