We need your help, John! π
|
|
Dip A Day in October is our biggest community fundraising challenge β and we canβt do it without YOU.
Β
Last yearβs plucky dippers were a brilliantly eclectic bunch, who blew us away by raising a whopping Β£202,105. Those funds were vital in helping us keep sewage pollution at the top of the political agenda β making the Kingβs speech, and becoming a hot topic in the election. Labour now has a mandate to tackle the problem, with water quality and plastic pollution named as the Environment Secretaryβs top two priorities.
Β
These things donβt happen by accident.
Β
So now weβre paddling even harder to ramp up the pressure. Weβre pushing for the government's new Water Bill to achieve long-term environmental improvement. Weβre pursuing more Designated Bathing Spaces. And weβre keeping the pressure on water companies to put people and planet before profit.
Β
We need to double the funds raised this year to fuel our ambitious campaigns and programmes of work to end sewage pollution, to seize this window of opportunity. And we need YOUR help.

YOU CAN DO THIS β
|
The Dip A Day rules? Get into any cold water thatβs safe and accessible for you, every day this October.
Β
Is it easy? No! Itβs a challenge β but thatβs the whole point. Itβs hard to keep showing up. Itβs cold. It can be tiring. It takes planning.
Β
But itβs also a ridiculous amount of fun. Addictive and rejuvenating. Life-changing, even.
Β
By taking that daily dip, youβll join a wonderful community having fun while fighting to transform the water industry, so that people and planet always come before profit.
Β
And youβll inject some vital pep into your autumn in the process!

WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
|
Weβve all been disgusted by the stories of sewage and other pollution pouring into the sea. Our urgent work to reverse that relies on people just like you: joining the Dip A Day community, spurring people on with your stories, and raising key funds.
Β
Weβd love you to get stuck in. Doing your bit to help make sure that anyone, anywhere can enjoy our wild waters. Dip safely now, so everyone can have clean waters in future.
Β
So, whether itβs in the sea, river, lake, your bathroom or back garden, will you join us and take the plunge?
Β
Dip A Day registration is open now.
Β
Grab your friends, family or workmates and come on in!
