John,
This Women’s Equality Day, we celebrate the passing of the 19th Amendment and honor the relentless efforts of those who organized and protested to secure voting rights for women. But let’s not forget, despite their huge contributions to the suffrage movement, women of color — especially Black women — had to keep fighting for years to overcome voter suppression and secure their rightful place at the polls.
104 years later, while poll taxes and literacy tests may be largely in the past, other forms of voter suppression persist, from restrictive voter ID laws to limiting access to early voting. John, women have been fighting for our power to shape the future for over 100 years — and we’re not stopping now! Will you chip in $5, $10, $25, or $50 to keep us moving forward and ensure every woman's voice is heard at the ballot box this election season? >>> [[link removed]]
