Mark Romanchuk Wins Republican Primary for Ohio Senate District 22 Conservative credentials, voting record earn Romanchuk strong support For Immediate Release April 29, 2020 (Mansfield) – State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Mansfield) has been declared the winner of the five-way 2020 Republican Primary for Ohio Senate District 22 with 58% of the vote, based on unofficial results overnight. Romanchuk is now the Republican nominee for Ohio’s 22nd Senate District, a seat being vacated by Senator Larry Obhof (R-Medina) due to term-limits later this year. The district includes all of Richland, Medina, and Ashland Counties and portions of Holmes County. Representative Romanchuk thanked the voters with the following statement: “Thank you so much to the voters who have made their voices heard. I am truly humbled by the overwhelming support I have received from all four counties in the district during this primary.
