Hi friend,

It’s August, which means that hopefully many of us will be taking time away from work to recharge our batteries. And if you are short on reading material, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve selected some great resources to help you find out more about the global debt crisis. Whether you’ve got two minutes, ten minutes or longer, these blogs and videos help explain how unjust debt is at the centre of many of the issues facing lower income countries today, from the climate emergency, to conflict, and what we can do about it.

To make matters even worse, debt levels are at their highest for over 25 years, countries facing climate disasters are being forced to spend five times more on debt repayments than on addressing the climate crisis.

Our new blog is a five-minute read that explains the links between the climate and debt crisis and why we can’t solve with the climate emergency without addressing the debt crisis.
