The climate crisis is intensifying in lower income countries. From severe droughts and flooding in Zambia to hurricanes across the Caribbean. To make matters even worse, debt levels are at their highest for over 25 years, countries facing climate disasters are being forced to spend five times more on debt repayments than on addressing the climate crisis.
