Friend –

Every student, including young people of all races, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and genders, deserves a great education that prepares them for a bright future.

Unfortunately, a handful of extreme groups and politicians do not believe that our schools should serve all young people. They've launched a nationwide effort to systematically exclude certain students, whitewash history, and censor curriculum – all while pitting parents and communities against each other.

This may sound familiar to you. Across California, some school districts have been or are becoming increasingly hostile towards Black, Brown, Indigenous, disabled, and LGBTQ+ students. Now more than ever, we must join together and fight for students' freedom to learn and freedom to be themselves at school. <[link removed]>
