In the past several months, I’ve been traveling across Virginia, and my discussions with hundreds of Virginians reveal a common theme: We must do more to support working families.
Families need access to quality child care, health care, a living wage, affordable housing, and paid leave during times of illness or emergency. Unfortunately, too few families can either afford or access these essentials .
That’s why I’ve spent my time in elected office advocating for Virginia’s children and their families :

and
tenant
protections
so
that
housing
is
safe
and
affordable

Pushing
to
establish
a
statewide

program
so
that
nearly
3.5
million
Virginians
are
able
to
access
it
in
times
of
need
*
Increasing
Virginia’s
minimum
wage
so
that
hardworking
Virginians
do
not
work

or
3
jobs
and
barely
keep
a
roof
over
their
heads
Creating a more affordable Commonwealth for Virginia’s families requires effective and collaborative policy and the right people in public office. We can't do it without your help .
