Youth Listening Session Survey

KYEA Listening Session Survey

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
LAST CHANCE!!

Your feedback is crucial to shaping our strategic plan for the next 3-5-7 years, and we genuinely value your opinion. This will be your last chance to have a say in what KYEA does in the future.

Your input will help us understand how to better serve your needs and expectations and guide us in making informed decisions about our organization's future direction.

The survey should take at most 15 minutes to complete, and your responses will remain anonymous unless you choose to provide your email address at the end for entry into a prize drawing. As a token of appreciation for your time and input, we're offering a chance to win a gift card (some of our options are to Starbucks, Chipotle, or Sonic).

Please click on the survey link below to get started:

Your voice is crucial to fulfilling our mission of educating, mentoring, and supporting youth with disabilities to be contributing members of their community. You can make a direct impact in shaping how KYEA empowers people like yourself in the coming years, AND all you have to do is take the time to attend a Listening Session by sharing your thoughts and experiences with us; how cool is that!?!

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and working together to make a difference!

Thank you in advance for your participation and for helping us improve. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Supporting Digital Accessibility in the Public and Private Sectors

One in four people in the United States has some kind of disability and may rely on digital accessibility to participate in virtual spaces or engage in everyday tasks. But disabled people, including those from underserved communities, often experience issues of digital inequality, limiting their access to health care, education and government information. Employers in the public and private sectors can help by staying informed about evolving technologies and standards and by creating digital environments that are accessible to all. Check out a new resource from ODEP?s Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) to learn more.

Celebrating Independence Among People with Disabilities

Each summer we celebrate the landmark Supreme Court decision in Olmstead v. L.C. and the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, two pivotal events in history that changed the experience of disabled people in the United States. To learn more about how these achievements granted independence in the community for people with disabilities, check out the latest issue of the LEAD On! newsletter from the ODEP-funded National Center on Leadership for the Employment and Economic Advancement of People with Disabilities (LEAD Center). The newsletter, titled ?Celebrating Disability Independence,? highlights several disability independence resources, including a digital booklet featuring 25 policy innovations and milestones stemming from the Olmstead decision.
