VOPRE - Volunteer First Responders en Operaciones de Primera Respuesta en Emergencias y Desastres
I have been leading an organization of volunteer First Aiders for 5 years and in that time we have lived experiences of all kinds, humanitarian, social, environmental, and training, which have enriched and strengthened us. In this voluntary work, what has motivated me to become an Instructor is the need that populations and communities have to learn how to save lives. Listening to their stories of emergency situations, accidents, incidents that occurred in their environments and places of work, many of them could be controlled in a timely manner if they had had the necessary knowledge and training. However, they felt the helplessness of not being able to do anything due to ignorance and lack of preparation. Now as an Instructor, our mission is to reduce the mortality rate in emergency situations, training more and more people in bleeding control.
Training is at the heart of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and STOP THE BLEED® Instructors are the ones that make the heart beat! The Instructor Spotlight shines a bright light on individuals engaging their communities about STOP THE BLEED®.

In 2 years, I gathered a team of 17 STOP THE BLEED® instructors in Ukraine. These are different people in different areas of work. But our team of Instructors of the training center "MedHelp and children`s future" always sticks to the main goal - to teach how to save everyone's life! For 2 years in the project, we trained more than 5,000 people, including 900 children. We work every day! We don't stop!

The Coalition is a community of individuals and organizations who are passionate about the STOP THE BLEED® campaign. The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.
STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
