REGISTER Additional Funding Approved to Restart Paycheck Protection Program Last week, Congress passed an additional $310 billion in funding to restart the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) as well as approved $50 billion in new funding for the Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. The Chamber compiled a list of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) lenders in the Chamber membership. Please check with your lender about applying. The Chamber’s Education & Workforce Development Committee will discuss a range of topics with the candidates, including workforce preparedness and the role that the business community plays in Arlington Public Schools. The participating candidates will be Cristina Diaz-Torres, Steven Krieger, Sandy Munnell, David Priddy, Terron Sims, and Symone Walker. REGISTER Register Your Business for Gift Card Sales The Chamber partnered with Arlington CAN-DO to provide needed revenue to our restaurant and retail businesses, and to give the community a platform to be able to support these businesses. Businesses can register on the site to sell their gift cards and individuals can browse the site to purchase a gift card. To register, complete the form on the website or send an email to [email protected] with the name and email address of the primary contact person, the business name, and the link to the exact spot on the business’s website where gift cards are sold.
