Workers' Compensation Research and Evaluation Group
DWC proposes 2025 research agenda

DWC has proposed the Fiscal Year 2025 Research Agenda [ [link removed] ] of the Workers’ Compensation Research and Evaluation Group (REG).

Texas Labor Code Section 405.0026 requires the REG to prepare a research agenda each year for the commissioner of workers’ compensation to review, approve, and publish in the "Texas Register".

DWC hosts hybrid quarterly meetings

Join us September 5 virtually or in-person at our Austin offices for our insurance carrier and health care provider quarterly meetings to discuss issues in the Texas workers' compensation system.


* Health care provider meeting: 12-1:30 p.m.
* Insurance carrier meeting: 2:30-4 p.m.

DWC accepts comments on pharmaceutical benefits rule changes

DWC is accepting public comments on a proposed rule that updates and reorganizes 28 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 134, Subchapter F [ [link removed] ], concerning pharmaceutical benefits.

The changes are necessary to remove obsolete provisions and to update references and language to be consistent with other rules.
