I am Cassandra Chavez, Organizing Director here at the California Democratic Party.
It’s my job to coordinate all of our mobilization efforts across the entire state — including in our most competitive tossup U.S. House races.
I’m constantly poring over the data to determine where to open our next regional office, deploy our next organization, or hold key events.
I love my job. The only frustrating part is when we are all set on expanding our operations, but we have to pull back or hold off because of budget.

— Opened multiple new regional offices;
— Expanded our intern program for new roles in digital communications and attracting the youth vote;
— Hired new organizers in the most competitive swing districts;
— And so much more!
But we cannot take our foot off the gas now, and the closer we get to the election the tighter our budgets are going to get.
