Huge regions of the country have been exposed to extreme heat waves over the past couple months, with temperatures climbing into the triple digits with what feels like no end in sight.

2023 was the world’s hottest year on record, and 2024 seems poised to top it, according to experts. That’s bad news — as extreme heat kills more Americans than any other weather hazard.

Lives are on the line in the fight against climate change, FirstName/friend, but Republican AGs are twiddling their thumbs and denying basic science.

Urgent action is needed on climate change NOW to mitigate the most dangerous effects — and Republicans are doing everything in their power to slow down our efforts, from suing the Environmental Protection Agency to attempting to gut the Clean Air Act .
