View as Webpage Share This Email Share This Email Share This Email   Talent Seek & Fine Wednesday, August 28 | 12:00-1:00 p.m. | Virtual Join David Remick, Executive Director of the Alexandria/Arlington Regional Workforce Council, to explore effective candidate sourcing strategies and options for building the staff you need within your company. This meeting will be a safe space to discuss recruitment challenges, share “horror stories,” and learn about promising practices. The Alexandria/Arlington Regional Workforce Council serves as the local Workforce Development Board under the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. They are a proud partner of Virginia Career Works and Go Virginia. The Council oversees WIOA services at the region’s two American Job Centers, the Alexandria Workforce Development Center and the Arlington Employment Center. These services include financial support for college tuition and vocational certifications, subsidies for transportation, books and fees while in school, and uniforms for employment. This roundtable will provide insights into: Effective candidate sourcing strategies Building an effective internal staff Overcoming recruitment challenges Best practices in workforce development Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights into candidate sourcing and workforce development to enhance your recruitment processes!
