Y'all, Sen. Cornyn talks a big game when he's referring to what he's done to help workers and small businesses hit hard by COVID-19. The reality, though, is different.

Sen. Cornyn likes to talk about the CARES Act and its expansion of unemployment insurance by an extra $600/week.
In reality, he voted to strip that $600/week expansion.
He promised that the CARES Act would provide "serious relief" for small businesses with limited bureaucracy.
But the truth is that smaller businesses seeking relief have faced obstacles at every turn, while bigger (what he calls "sophisticated") companies leaned on their connections to access aid.
If I say I'm fighting for something, I'm actually going to follow through. Texans deserve straight talk and a senator who'll actually fight for them, so donate today to support real Texan leadership, not double talk.
