I just wanted to let you know what we’re up to in The Bronx and
Queens:

We have run an amazing back-to-school drive, where we’ve stocked tons of
backpacks for kids and families that might have trouble affording school
supplies.

We do this every year — but this year, your support has been astronomical.

Everybody falls on tough times now and then. My family fell on tough
times.

Now, if families in my district need a little bit of help, we’ve got all
of these.

And it all came from you. I don’t take any money from corporate lobbyists,
or Wall Street, or any of that. It all came from a bunch of average
donations of $16.

We’re still pushing to make this our biggest back-to-school distribution
yet.

2,000 backpack goal for this year? Every dollar will help us get closer to
our goal and allow us to distribute backpacks and school supplies across
New York City.
