I have officially been declared the winner of the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate in Michigan.

And Trump-endorsed Mike Rogers was declared the winner of the Republican primary.

That means we're headed to a general election match-up.

It's on. And the 90 day sprint to November has begun.

I'll have more to say about Mike Rogers and what happens next in the coming days. 

Today, I'll be keeping a close eye on our fundraising numbers. With everything going on in politics, our opponent will get a boost, and we need one too. This is a big moment for the country -- and for both of our Senate campaigns. The candidate whose supporters show up most will have a big advantage. So I am asking:

Can you take all of the positive energy of this moment and help get the general election off to a strong start by splitting a contribution between EMILYs List and my campaign for U.S. Senate? We're in the sprint to the general election now and I can't win without overwhelming grassroots support.
