Rob has led the fight to stop medical debt from affecting people’s credit
scores in California. Now, his work is serving as an example for the
nation:

debt can no longer be used against your credit score.

Through no fault of their own, millions of Americans have unpaid medical
bills. Medical debt is bad enough on its own — but when it appears on
credit reports, it can become almost impossible to find housing, buy a
car, or get a job.

Rob knows that’s unjust. Under his leadership, California is working to
stop medical debt from harming credit scores. And now, his efforts have
inspired the Biden-Harris administration to enact those very same policies
on a national level.

Kamala
Harris is going to be the 47th President of the United States. And when
