Through no fault of their own, millions of Americans have unpaid medical bills. Medical debt is bad enough on its own — but when it appears on credit reports, it can become almost impossible to find housing, buy a car, or get a job.
Rob knows that’s unjust. Under his leadership, California is working to stop medical debt from harming credit scores. And now, his efforts have inspired the Biden-Harris administration to enact those very same policies on a national level.
