Congratulations to Hennessy’s River View Ford, the Oswego Economic Development Commission Business of the Month for July. Owned by John Hennessy and managed by Jack Daniels, Hennessy’s River View Ford is celebrating their 15th anniversary in Oswego.
John’s business philosophy, "show everyone the love," emphasizes treating both customers and staff with kindness, respect, and care. This extends to River View Ford’s philanthropic efforts. The dealership supports numerous organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Community School District 308, Heartland Blood Center, Illinois Army National Guard and JDRF, among others.

Hillbilly Rockstarz
Get your cowboy boots and hats ready for this FREE country music concert at Venue 1012 on August 1. Don't Rock the Jukebox, presented by Hillbilly Rockstarz [ [link removed] ], is back in Oswego and ready to play music from iconic artists such as Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, just to name a few.
Enjoy great live music, local food and cold drinks, including craft beer, hard seltzer, vodka lemonade and non-alcoholic options. Outside food is now permitted, however, outside beverages are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket for this show.

Mosquito spray alerts
Mosquito
The Village's mosquito control contractor, Clarke, sprays the Village as needed to protect residents from mosquitoes and the viruses they carry.
Clarke uses a comprehensive program including mosquito population surveillance, larval control and adult mosquito control to minimize mosquito populations to prevent nuisance mosquitoes and suppress outbreaks of West Nile Virus. The program follows the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and uses products registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Spraying begins at dusk when mosquitoes are most active and continues into the morning hours. Sign up for text or email alerts [ [link removed] ] when spraying is scheduled in the Village.
