This morning, I held a Virtual Town Hall with Reform California to brief supporters on our campaign to defend Prop 13 by blocking the property tax hike measure California politicians are placing on the November ballot. Given the economic impacts of the Coronavirus lockdowns, it is even more important that we stop ANY tax hikes from being imposed this year. To defeat these tax hikes, we have had to adjust our campaign strategy to focus on virtual organizing activities in each region with a goal of getting the campaign completely in place in each region of the state by June 30.
