Hi John,
After this past weekend’s Zero HIV Stigma Day, I’m reminded of the tireless efforts of our community fighting for our loved ones impacted by HIV. For me, and all of us at Equality Federation, this fight is more than just a statement—it’s a deep commitment that drives us every day.
Our upcoming Leadership Conference will feature the largest Public Health and HIV advocacy footprint to date, with a special focus on addressing the discrimination and inequities fueling the HIV epidemic in LGBTQ+ communities. This dynamic programming will…

Awareness:
Provide
access
to
education
and
trainings
to
over
350
state
and
national-level
LGBTQ+
movement
leaders
about
the
impact
of
HIV
criminalization,
particularly
on
Black
and
LGBTQ+
communities.
*
Promote
Collaboration
:
Bring
together
different
movement
leaders
from
Black
civil
rights
to
LGBTQ+
lawmakers
and
activists
to
share
best
practices
beyond
individual
advocacy
silos.
*
Amplify
Lived
Experience:
The
entire
programming
was
curated
and
meaningfully
includes
those
of
us
directly
impacted
by
HIV
criminalization
and
other
people
living
with
HIV,
ensuring
lived
experiences
are
heard
and
valued,
and
that
we
are
leading
this
work
from
fighting
criminalization
to
enhancing
access
to
PrEP
and
HIV
treatment.
But we can't do this alone. We need your support to keep fighting for our loved ones impacted by HIV.
In partnership with our state partners, we are accelerating HIV advocacy at the state level and, together, we will build a future where all LGBTQ+ communities, including those of us living with HIV, can thrive wherever we call home.
