Hi John,
After this past weekend’s Zero HIV Stigma Day, I’m reminded of the tireless efforts of our community fighting for our loved ones impacted by HIV. For me, and all of us at Equality Federation, this fight is more than just a statement—it’s a deep commitment that drives us every day.
Our upcoming Leadership Conference will feature the largest Public Health and HIV advocacy footprint to date, with a special focus on addressing the discrimination and inequities fueling the HIV epidemic in LGBTQ+ communities. This dynamic programming will… -
Increase Awareness: Provide access to education and trainings to over 350 state and national-level LGBTQ+ movement leaders about the impact of HIV criminalization, particularly on Black and LGBTQ+ communities.
-
Promote Collaboration: Bring together different movement leaders from Black civil rights to LGBTQ+ lawmakers and activists to share best practices beyond individual advocacy silos.
-
Amplify Lived Experience: The entire programming was curated and meaningfully includes those of us directly impacted by HIV criminalization and other people living with HIV, ensuring lived experiences are heard and valued, and that we are leading this work from fighting criminalization to enhancing access to PrEP and HIV treatment.
But we can't do this alone. We need your support to keep fighting for our loved ones impacted by HIV.
In partnership with our state partners, we are accelerating HIV advocacy at the state level and, together, we will build a future where all LGBTQ+ communities, including those of us living with HIV, can thrive wherever we call home.
With gratitude, |
