There are just two weeks remaining in the nomination timeframe for our inaugural Richard D. McLellan Prizes for Advancing Free Speech and Expression ([link removed]) .
If you know of worthy people or projects doing their part to promote freedom of speech and expression, we encourage you to take a minute to nominate them so that the distinguished panel of judges can consider their work. You'll find more information and the nomination form on our website ([link removed]) .

Learn more about the Richard D. McLellan Prizes at the Russell Kirk Center.
As a reminder, the Kirk Center will annually award a $50,000 grand prize that recognizes the best writing, creative works, actions, or new media communications defending free speech and expression.
Additionally, two promising writers will be awarded $12,500 summer research grants to pursue projects that enhance our understanding and advocacy of Free Speech rights. Together, they will support those making an outstanding case for the perennial wisdom and ongoing necessity of the American tradition of free speech.
