In a nationally broadcast interview on Monday, President Biden pushed back on rich Democrats who want him to end his re-election campaign, saying, “I don’t care what the millionaires think.” Small donors, he made clear, were coming through for him. Mr. Biden has raised more money from small donors than Mr. Trump so far this cycle, according to an analysis by the nonpartisan watchdog site OpenSecrets. That is a reversal from their 2020 face-off.

Many of the nation’s most powerful unions confirm they are continuing to back President Biden, despite faltering support among some top Democrats, pointing to his willingness to support their priorities on almost every issue during his first term. That’s the type of thing that really feeds and fuels citizens’ loss of faith in the system when they hear about things like this.”
