Last month, the Supreme Court overruled the longstanding Chevron doctrine, which deferred to experts at agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to have the final say in interpreting complex laws.
Fossil fuel interests have been plotting to overturn Chevron for decades. Why? Now, unelected judges handpicked by corporate interests can have final say in lifesaving policies protecting our families from pollution and climate change.
This is a huge setback, but we’re not giving up. We must defend our hard-fought victories and build upon the significant achievements from the Biden Administration and Congress on climate over the last few years.

Alongside the Inflation Reduction Act’s investments in clean energy, funding for climate-smart agriculture in the Farm Bill, and other federal protections, the Biden Administration has made important progress on climate action.
But despite all of our progress, polluters -- and their allies everywhere from courts to Congress -- are fighting tirelessly to roll back our climate wins. Even long-established protections to keep our air and water clean from pollution could now be thrown out by judges. Will you speak out?
Add your name to the petition to tell Congress to side with people, not polluters. [[link removed]]
