A poll recently conducted by UT Tyler shows just how close the race
between Ted Cruz and Colin Allred really is. It has Cruz up by 4 points —
less than one point outside the margin of error.

While this is definitely reason for cautious optimism, we should always
keep in mind that there are going to be a lot of polls between now and
Election Day, and the horse race will shift around quite a bit.

If one poll has you feeling discouraged, just remember that not a single
pollster came close to predicting the result last time Ted squeaked to
victory against Beto O’Rourke.

Here’s the truth: Colin Allred can win this race and send Ted Cruz to an
early retirement, but it’s going to take a massive, statewide grassroots
movement to make it happen.

We plan to do our part by running a statewide ad campaign reminding voters
of all the ways Ted has sold us out in the Senate and reminding folks to
get to the polls to vote him out. But Texas is a huge state, and we need
