The war on drugs has been (and continues to be) a war on people of color
in this country. A huge part of the war on drugs includes the
criminalization of cannabis.

Our work to elect reform-focused district attorneys is so important
because they have incredible amounts of power and can decide to refuse to
prosecute cannabis related offenses. By electing district attorneys who
will refuse to prosecute cannabis offenses, we can drastically shift our
entire criminal legal system.
