Department of State Appropriation Bills:

Cuts
to
vital
international
initiatives,
including
the
United
Nations’
regular
budget,
the
Green
Climate
Fund,
and
the
Clean
Technology
Fund.
*
Removal
of
the
Special
Presidential
Envoy
for
Climate.
*
Prohibits
the
Treasury
Department
from
supporting
the
Biden
administration’s
“climate
agenda”
at
multilateral
development
banks.
Department of Defense Funding Bill:
*
Restricts
a
proposed
rule
requiring
government
contractors
to
disclose
greenhouse
gas
emissions
and
climate-related
financial
risks.
*
Repeals
a
2021
executive
order
that
helps
reduce
methane
emissions,
enact
stricter
vehicle
fuel
economy
standards,
and
create
stricter
appliance
and
building
efficiency
standards.
*
Undos
an
order
to
submit
reports
on
climate
change’s
impact
on
migration.
