Last week, the right-wing majority on the Supreme Court granted Donald Trump “absolute immunity” from prosecution for “official acts.” It is a disastrous decision that has upended a core tenant of American democracy — that no one is above the law. As Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote in her dissent: “In every use of official power, the President is now a king above the law.”

We all know Donald Trump is only in this for himself. And this ruling also means that if he wins in November, he’d be able to abuse his presidential power — without any meaningful legal restraints.

Pat believes that in America, no one is above the law, not even a former President. But his GOP opponent Alison Esposito and her backers are 100% devoted to Trump.
