In case you missed my email last week, I'm fired up to tell you that we just
scored a huge win in the House of Representatives. The "No Tax Dollars for the
Taliban Act

" has passed, and let me tell you, it's about time!



For far too long, millions of your hard-earned dollars have been slipping
through the cracks and ending up in the hands of the Taliban. That's right,
folks—your tax dollars have been funding the very people who want to do us
harm. According torecent reports

, the U.S. has knowingly or unknowingly funneled tens of millions of dollars to
the Taliban.



We’re drawing a dadgum line in the sand. With this bill, we’ve put a stop to
the madness. We’re bringing in tough oversight and accountability measures to
make sure not a single red cent of American money ends up with those
terrorists. This is a fight for our security, our principles, and our tax

I’d like to thank each and every one of you who took the time to walk with me
in Farragut’s Independence Day Parade! It was an incredible morning that really
demonstrated the patriotism that serves as the cornerstone of East Tennessee.
There were families decked out in red, white, and blue and too many American
flags to count—just as it should be!



After the parade, I spent time with my family enjoying some delicious grub and
reflecting on how blessed we are to live in this country. It’s because of
fantastic people like you that conservative values live on and help our
families thrive, and I’m forever grateful to be a part of this important
movement.
