For far too long, millions of your hard-earned dollars have been slipping through the cracks and ending up in the hands of the Taliban. That's right, folks—your tax dollars have been funding the very people who want to do us harm. According to recent reports, the U.S. has knowingly or unknowingly funneled tens of millions of dollars to the Taliban.
We’re drawing a dadgum line in the sand. With this bill, we’ve put a stop to the madness. We’re bringing in tough oversight and accountability measures to make sure not a single red cent of American money ends up with those terrorists. This is a fight for our security, our principles, and our tax dollars. The bill enforces strict measures to monitor and audit where our aid is going, ensuring that we don’t inadvertently support those who aim to undermine our country.

We will not be complacent while our enemies use our resources against us. Per the Department of Defense, nearly $1 billion in U.S. aid has been at risk of diversion to the Taliban. This legislation aims to close those loopholes and protect our investments in national security and international stability.
