I hope you’re having a sizzling summer so far and that your Fourth (of July) was fantastic! I’m reaching out because I wanted to personally invite you to our Volunteer Virtual BBQ and Summer Meeting on Wednesday, July 10.

And as a special summer treat, this meeting will feature the testimony of Tyson Cobbs, an inspiring gun violence survivor, youth mentor, and community activist.

This is a great opportunity to meet our organizers, have fun with other volunteers, and learn about the sizzling hot actions we’re planning for these long summer days. Longer days mean more opportunities to take action, and you can learn all about the actions we have planned, and your role in them, at our Virtual BBQ:

- Hear Tyson’s testimony and heed his call to action
- Learn about tabling opportunities (did you know tabling is a verb?)
- Find out which anti-gun safety legislators we plan to roast, peacefully of course

This meeting is open to volunteers old and new, no matter where in the Commonwealth you reside. If you’ve advocated for gun safety or cheered from the sidelines, but haven’t joined us for an action yet, this is a great way to learn about your stake and role in our work.
