**Supreme Court Empowers Dallas to Deal With Vagrancy Crisis**

The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has delivered a major victory for Dallas and every other city dealing with the nationwide homelessness crisis. The case in question,

**Grants Pass vs. Johnson,**ended with the SCOTUS opinion that cities are allowed to enforce their bans on urban camping.

**The Supreme Court understands that parks, streets, sidewalks, and roads are not fit for private residence.**

Unfortunately, as the Dallas Express

**"I am currently reviewing the Grants Pass case and will be consulting with the City Attorney's Office regarding its effect on the City of Dallas."??**

A tragedy took place near White Rock Creek this weekend. After a prolonged standoff with police, Cody Watkins was shot and killed by DPD. For almost an hour DPD were trying to get the suspect of a family violence case to drop his knife.

**Do not travel to this part of town unless it is absolutely necessary. The City is FAILING!**

This camp in Gay Donnell Willis's District 13????has earned the title "Fenced Away Camp." This vagrant has taken up residence at this break in a fence. He is living right alongside I-635, near the intersection of Frontage Rd, an area that is rife with panhandling and vagrancy. City Council must work to end vagrancy and make Dallas safer!
