PAREA Grads Incoming: First 2 Are Texans

The graduates are trickling in nine months after the first ever launch of the Practical Applications of Real Estate Appraisal (PAREA) [ [link removed] ]. It took off commanded by the Appraisal Institute (AI). Sticking the landing as the first person to complete PAREA is a stay-at-home dad in San Antonio named Chris Tindal (pictured, left). He spoke with TALCB about his May 13 finish.

CR PAREA Module

AI launched its Appraisal Qualifications Board-approved certified residential module of its PAREA program. [ [link removed] ] This is in addition to its licensed residential module.

Require College Degree or Not: A Call for Comments

The Appraisal Foundation is calling for comments on whether a college degree should be a requirement for certain license types. The deadline to submit feedback is July 27.
