Dear Friend,

The Supreme Court suspended a critical clean air rule that would have saved thousands of lives and prevented millions of asthma attacks. The Good Neighbor Plan would have prevented approximately 1,300 premature deaths, averted over 2,300 hospital visits, and alleviated asthma symptoms for over 1.3 million people. But the conservative supermajority ruled against us and the EPA, preventing the nation’s top environmental agency from compelling big industry to reduce toxic air pollution.

Earthjustice supporters like you spoke up in support of the Good Neighbor Plan, a vital clean air rule that aims to control smog pollution. We still need your support and our fight to protect the environment does not end with this decision. Supporters like you rise to the occasion during every comment period and opportunity – and it makes a difference. Click here to take all the actions below on one page.

Safeguard a major victory on coal

The Bureau of Land Management decided to wind down coal leasing in the Powder River Basin. This decision will keep billions of highly polluting coal in the ground and we need your help to defend it.

Tell the Army Corps not to re-route the dangerous Line 5 pipeline

For more than a decade, the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa fought to remove the Line 5 pipeline from their homeland in northern Wisconsin. A judge ruled in their favor, but Enbridge is still pushing to re-route the pipeline to get around the reservation’s boundaries. This puts the watershed and the Tribe at risk. Send a letter to the Army Corps today to oppose this project.

Defend our right to clean water

The Sackett v. Environmental Protection Agency Supreme Court ruling eviscerated the Clean Water Act and removed protections for over 118 million acres of wetlands and staggering number of streams. Join us in the fight to defend our water and preserve our ecosystems.

Stop the CP2 methane gas export terminal

Methane gas exports from CP2 would threaten public health, harm Gulf Coast communities, and contribute to higher energy costs and climate pollution. But CP2 can be stopped if we all rally together to voice our opposition to it. Tell the Department of Energy to deny the export license for CP2.
