The Good Neighbor Plan would have prevented approximately 1,300 premature deaths, averted over 2,300 hospital visits, and alleviated asthma symptoms for over 1.3 million people. But the conservative supermajority ruled against us and the EPA, preventing the nation’s top environmental agency from compelling big industry to reduce toxic air pollution. |
