Prosperity Now's Building High Impact Nonprofits of Color (BHINC) project provides training to Black and Brown-owned nonprofits. With six years of experience leading the Building High Impact Nonprofits of Color (BHINC) project in partnership with philanthropic funders, this initiative is leading a new cohort in the local communities of the DMV. While Prosperity Now is not a funder, the intellectual thought partnership and technical assistance we provide, combined with financial investments, help local leaders maximize their resources by building their confidence and skills to carry out their visions on behalf of their communities. Communities of color need nonprofits of color with high impact asset-building services to address the national challenge of a broad and deep racial wealth divide.
