Friend —
DSA is the largest socialist organization in the United States, but we can only win radical demands like the Green New Deal and Medicare for All if our membership reflects the diversity of the working class.
To that end, Detroit DSA's Black & Brown Alliance (BBA) is hosting a virtual roundtable this Monday at 6:30pm to discuss how we build a strong, organized, and diverse Left — and why BIPOC (Black/Indigenous/People of Color) leftists in Detroit and beyond might consider joining DSA.
We are honored to be joined by famed activist Linda Sarsour, as well as special guests Bianca Cunningham (NYC DSA), Ramsin Canon (Chicago DSA), Symone Baptiste (LA DSA), Robert Bell (Louisville DSA), Michael Esealuka (New Orleans DSA), and more.
This event is open to the public, and all Detroit DSA members are encouraged to attend.
