These young fawns, hatchlings and other babies are charismatic and incredible to watch and photograph.* *While it may be tempting to get close, *the Wyoming Game and Fish Department urges people to leave newborn wildlife alone and keep a distance. Kickstart your conservation career at the Wyoming Collegiate Conservation Symposium at Whiskey Mountain

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites current college students and recent graduates to Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp in Dubois Aug. 8-11 to learn how to pursue a successful career in the outdoors at the newly created *Wyoming Collegiate Conservation Symposium* [ [link removed] ] camp.







Report dead wild rabbits to Game and Fish

Wyomingites are being asked to keep a lookout for dead rabbits in their yards, rural property and other outdoor areas. Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus 2 (RHDV2) was first detected in Wyoming in December 2020 and has been identified in *20 rabbits across eight counties* [ [link removed] ] in 2024.




Trichomoniasis outbreak detected in Casper area birds

Trichomoniasis, a concerning infectious disease affecting birds, has been identified in mourning and Eurasian collared doves in Casper. The outbreak, caused by the protozoan parasite "Trichomonas gallinae", *may impact doves, house finches, and pigeons.* [ [link removed] ] 






Hall of Fame and Youth Conservationist Award nominations being accepted

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is currently accepting nominations for the Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame and the newly created Youth Conservationist of the Year award.
