Report dead wild rabbits to Game and Fish
Wyomingites are being asked to keep a lookout for dead rabbits in their yards, rural property and other outdoor areas. Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus 2 (RHDV2) was first detected in Wyoming in December 2020 and has been identified in 20 rabbits across eight counties in 2024.

Trichomoniasis outbreak detected in Casper area birds
Trichomoniasis, a concerning infectious disease affecting birds, has been identified in mourning and Eurasian collared doves in Casper. The outbreak, caused by the protozoan parasite Trichomonas gallinae, may impact doves, house finches, and pigeons.
