Help raise money for Cancer Research UK by taking part in the 5k or 10k Race for Life events this Sunday. Online entries are still open, or participants can sign up on the day if there is capacity.
You can walk, run, or jog the routes, giving people the chance to come together with their family and friends and join the movement to beat cancer.

For runners seeking their next challenge or feeling inspired by Race for Life, why not sign up for the Robin Hood Half or Mini Marathon around the city centre on Sunday 29 September?

As part of Nottingham Central Library's monthly music and performance event, Sound at Central, Black British Ballet perform their Windrush-inspired piece 'Island Movements'.
Also joining the line-up are genre-blurring jazz quartet The Jazz Bastrds, and JamcafĂŠ DJs Bradley Jam and Hemulen.
This is a standing gig (with ad-hoc seating for those who need it) and tickets are ÂŁ10. The licensed bar will be open from 7pm selling a range of drinks and snacks.
