Dear ,

Summer is no time for vacation from the campaign trail! Our team has been working hard to connect with voters across the 28th District by hitting the doors and attending events.

I am grateful to have such wonderful and enthusiastic volunteers coming alongside me. Thank you to everyone who is helping!

While having the best volunteer team is an enormous asset, we also need to continue to raise the funding that is necessary to get our message to voters. Progressive groups are aggressively targeting swing races throughout Pennsylvania and are pouring in money from major liberal donors. Although it is still early in the campaign, according to the latest financial reports, our opponent has outspent us just over 3 to 1. We are coming up on the critical end-of-quarter 2 deadline. If you are able to make a contribution and/or attend one of our upcoming events to close out Q2, we would greatly appreciate it!

Lay of the Land:

I have been knocking on doors and talking with hundreds of voters from all parts of the 28th District. People desperately want solutions to move Pennsylvania and our country forward. There is a strong sentiment that we are not headed in the right direction and many are concerned about the future for their children and grandchildren. My message of being a problem-solver and consensus builder who will strive to provide opportunities here in PA, reduce tax burdens, and make government more efficient resonates very well with voters.

In today’s climate, we have one of the most polarized electorates ever, with very strong opinions about our top-of-the-ticket races. This is why it is so important to communicate with voters one-on-one. Talking with voters, I have found that whether Republican, Democrat, or Independent, they want safe communities, good schools, quality roads and bridges, clean air and water, and reasonable taxes that don’t take more and more of their hard-earned money. Despite the divisiveness of this election cycle, it is still possible to win over voters of all party backgrounds with our positive message of moving PA forward.

Critical Events:

Please join us at one of our two events to close out Q2. On Tuesday, June 25th, we have a fundraising event at the Duquesne Club hosted by Tom and Sandy Usher, Al and Mary Barbour, and many others. Then, on Sunday afternoon June 30th, we are hosting a picnic and campaign kick-off event at Pine Park from 3 PM-5 PM. We hope that you can attend one or both! To RSVP for either of these, you can respond to this email or contact us at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=&body=) .
* June 25th, 6 PM-8 PM: Fundraiser at the Duquesne Club — Hosted by Tom and Sandy Usher & Al and Mary Barbour — Tickets are $250 and sponsorship levels available at $1,000; $2,500; and $5,000

* June 30th, 3 PM-5 PM: “Friendraiser Picnic” at Pine Park — Suggested contributions: $30 per person or $50 per family

How to Help

One of the most common questions we get asked is “How can we help?” There are so many things that can be done with volunteers! There is literally something for everyone. Here is a list of just some of the activities we need help with:

- Put door hangers on doors in your neighborhood

- Address postcards/envelopes

- Help man a booth at an event

- Make phone calls to target/swing voters

- Put together yard signs

- Host a Meet and Greet at your house

- Invite Jeremy to speak at a club or group

If you can help, just reply to this email and let us know what you are interested/able to do and we will get you connected!

Thank you again for your continued support!

Respectfully,
