Lay of the Land:
I have been knocking on doors and talking with hundreds of voters from all parts of the 28th District. People desperately want solutions to move Pennsylvania and our country forward. There is a strong sentiment that we are not headed in the right direction and many are concerned about the future for their children and grandchildren. My message of being a problem-solver and consensus builder who will strive to provide opportunities here in PA, reduce tax burdens, and make government more efficient resonates very well with voters.
In today’s climate, we have one of the most polarized electorates ever, with very strong opinions about our top-of-the-ticket races. This is why it is so important to communicate with voters one-on-one. Talking with voters, I have found that whether Republican, Democrat, or Independent, they want safe communities, good schools, quality roads and bridges, clean air and water, and reasonable taxes that don’t take more and more of their hard-earned money. Despite the divisiveness of this election cycle, it is still possible to win over voters of all party backgrounds with our positive message of moving PA forward.
