DD: Trump and the RNC File Second Lawsuit Targeting Nevada’s Mail-in Ballots [[link removed]]
Actions count more than words, John.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) and their presidential nominee, Donald Trump, have recently publicly encouraged the use of mail-in ballots . In private, however, they keep filing lawsuits to limit their use.
The RNC, the Trump campaign, and the Nevada Republican Party recently filed a new lawsuit challenging Nevada’s procedures for accepting mail-in ballots. Nevada law states that ballots can be counted if they are received in the four days after Election Day. This lawsuit, however, seeks to " stop the count " and undo that process , especially for ballots that are dropped off in-person and not postmarked.
Mail-in ballot laws are under attack in Nevada and other key states across the country. Defend our mail-in ballots by pitching in $25 or whatever you can today to make sure every vote counts >> [[link removed]]

Why is this such a big deal? Trump's appointed Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, is implementing revisions to the USPS that will slow our mail and have it take longer to get where it is going. For example, under DeJoy's plan, Nevada's mail will to go San Francisco -- yes, in California -- for processing before coming back to Nevada.
There is no guarantee that a ballot mailed on Election Day in Nevada will get to San Francisco for sorting and be back in time to be counted. Shortening that window from four days to two, or none ( as Trump and his allies have often requested ) would invalidate scores of legitimate ballots that should be counted.
Opponents of voting rights know this, John, and cynically want to make sure that as many of these mail-in ballots don't count as possible in order to skew the election results. Chip in $25 or however much you can today to help protect mail-in voting from attacks like these so that our elections stay free and fair >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
