Pride Month Primary Wins!
We are excited to report that several of our endorsed candidates in Iowa, New Jersey, New Mexico, and an approved candidate in West Virginia won their respective elections! Unfortunately, Joeigh Perella and SK Rossi came up short in their respective primaries in New Jersey and Montana.
Aime Wichtendahl in Iowa [[link removed]] , Rep. Zooey Zephyr in Montana [[link removed]] , and Rep. Kameron Nelson in South Dakota [[link removed]] were uncontested in their state legislative primaries. In New Mexico, Sen. Leo Jaramillo [[link removed]] and Sen. Carrie Hamblen [[link removed]] both advanced without opposition.
Great news from Charleston County, South Carolina, where incumbent Sheriff Kristin Graziano [[link removed]] is unopposed in her Democratic primary! Also unopposed were Nevada State Senator Dallas Harris [[link removed]] and Ryan Hampton, running for the Nevada State Assembly [[link removed]] , State Senator Ryan Braunberger in North Dakota [[link removed]] , as well as Rep. Matt Moonen [[link removed]] , Rep. Amy Roeder [[link removed]] , and former Rep. Ryan Fecteau in Maine [[link removed]] . Austin Foss is unopposed in North Dakota [[link removed]] for the primary and general election for his race to represent District 44 in the North Dakota House of Representatives!

Exciting news from the Delaware primaries: Sarah McBride has cleared the primary field [[link removed]] , all but ensuring a primary win! There is still time for an opponent to jump into the race [[link removed]] . If no opponent does, however, she’s well on the way to becoming the first out trans person EVER elected to the U.S. Congress [[link removed]] !!!

Honoring Pulse
LGBTQ+ activists, allies and LGBTQ+ candidates [[link removed]] around the U.S. honored and remember the Pulse shooting this week [[link removed]] , posting touching testimonials about the victims lives [[link removed]] and uplifting their memories [[link removed]] .
As Carlos Guillermo Smith stated in the aftermath of the shooting [[link removed]] , “The silver lining after the horrible tragedy that we lived through in Orlando [[link removed]] was not only how our community came together to push back against homophobia and bigotry, but that a new generation of unapologetic leaders rose from the ashes.”
