Dear John,
The coronavirus has exposed what’s already been rampant in our society: ableism. Last year, the Disability Project housed at TLC was launched by Sebastian Margaret to address the violence that is now even more severe under the pandemic.
The project’s board is composed of trans and queer disabled people, two of whom will be speaking at our next virtual community gathering. RSVP for that vital conversation here. [[link removed]]

This virtual gathering, as with our past gatherings, will have Spanish and ASL interpretation. And from this week forward, we are including live captioning in real-time to further make our spaces accessible.
So many individuals, organizations, and movements are now learning from disabled wisdom, but trans and queer disabled people have always been here. We must invest in the brilliance of disabled communities. [[link removed]]
Together in the movement,
Kris and the TLC team
