Last week, PA House Republicans booed and walked out [[link removed]?] on the United States Capitol Police Officers that bravely defended our democracy during January 6th.
Officers Harry Dunn and Aquilino Gonell were both wounded in the line of duty defending our nation's Capitol building from rioters and insurrectionists whose goal was to overturn the results of a free and fair election. They put themselves in harm’s way to protect our democracy, and they were met with the utmost disrespect from our House Republican colleagues.
Make no mistake: Republicans don’t want to acknowledge what happened on January 6th, and they vilify the heroes that put their lives on the line to uphold law and order.
